Eli Løndov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Vaclovas Jurkus made a huge save. With a little luck, Absoliut's Vaclovas Jurkus got control of the ball when Apolo Vela tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Absoliut defense, Teddi Fremmen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vaclovas Jurkus. The Absoliut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vaclovas Jurkus should have stopped the shot. Absoliut's Vaclovas Jurkus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Absoliut from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Absoliut's goalkeeper Vaclovas Jurkus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lionel Messias. A collision led to Absoliut getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Caio Freitas hit a great ball. Absoliut's Vaclovas Jurkus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Absoliut from getting a goal against them. Albinas Gudauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With 50 minutes on the clock, Caio Freitas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of BK Skjold booed when Absoliut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dainius Lukošius didn't get a good kick on the ball.
