After a rather tough play, Project Nemesis's Hans Odd got a free kick in the 5th minute. Jasper Delamore's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Petr Čech firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Project Nemesis defense, Dominic Beale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petr Čech. The Project Nemesis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petr Čech should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Beale came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Egg Chasers FC's Jasper Delamore made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petr Čech was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albert Godsall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgio Armani, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Project Nemesis were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Egg Chasers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paolo Maldini took the corner. In the 27th minute Jasper Delamore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Antoni Raszek fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Project Nemesis's protests and gave Antoni Raszek a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Project Nemesis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Raszek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goal looked a bit too open when Des Wicks came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgio Armani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albert Godsall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Albert Godsall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egg Chasers FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Project Nemesis for a fine match.
