The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jasper Delamore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute of the match Martin Kauldi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albert Godsall showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gastres FC's Virgilio Txilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Des Wicks in the 13th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Lennie Sanderson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Egg Chasers FC and the Gastres FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albert Godsall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Leocadio in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Gastres FC were awarded a corner. Nicolas Gonza went to the cornerflag to take it. 21 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's Dominic Beale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgilio Txilar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute of the match, Cristo Leocadio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Albert Godsall saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Gonza got free with Albert Godsall in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Barone hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Lee Bannatyne's late challenge caught a Gastres FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lee Bannatyne helped the player get up and apologised. Lee Bannatyne kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Jasper Delamore made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Txilar. Gastres FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 43 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Leocadio came free, but Albert Godsall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Albert Godsall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

50 minutes into the game, Dominic Beale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Egg Chasers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gastres FC the free kick. In the 51st minute, Dominic Beale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Beale. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Delamore in the 57th minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Txilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Gastres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Tadzio to maneuver through the defense. Kenny Duckworth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Txilar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Albert Godsall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Gonza in the 63rd minute of play. Virgilio Txilar was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Joel Groom capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Groom really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Egg Chasers FC's Jasper Delamore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Virgilio Txilar. That made the score 0-4 after 68 minutes of play. 72 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Txilar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jasper Delamore. 73 minutes into the match, Joel Groom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgilio Txilar. Gastres FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Groom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Virgilio Txilar made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Jasper Delamore sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Gastres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Tadzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gastres FC's zone, Kenny Duckworth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Txilar came out of the goal and Kenny Duckworth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Refugio came free, but Albert Godsall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Gastres FC got a corner. Egg Chasers FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Javier Stephen ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 96 minutes Egg Chasers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javier Stephen who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Javier Stephen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Albert Godsall quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Egg Chasers FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
