Dawid Kornaszewski's late challenge caught a Khachatryan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Kondysar in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Hendrik Paas got free with Radowit Zawada in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Radowit Zawada made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Arno Martirosyan sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Bezek's Napoleon Kondysar got a free kick in the 25th minute. Jan Hendrik Paas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Radowit Zawada made a huge save. Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Kondysar in the 29th minute of play. Radowit Zawada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tigran Terzian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Logewnik came free, but Tigran Balayan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Krzysztof Logewnik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Hendrik Paas in the 34th minute of play forced Bezek's goalkeeper Radowit Zawada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Alex Raţiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radowit Zawada. Alex Raţiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Barnaba Fedosz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pawel Tomasik hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Barnaba Fedosz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Balayan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Khachatryan defense, Barnaba Fedosz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tigran Balayan. The Khachatryan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tigran Balayan should have stopped the shot. Khachatryan's Graig Duke was substituted for Tommy Landis. Khachatryan's Jasper Agoos was substituted for Pawel Tomasik. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Khachatryan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
