After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gabriel Turi managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Turi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But to his dismay, Sylwester Giec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gabriel Turi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ignacy Niewiadomski made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Carrillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cyprian Knopek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Tautvydas Mickevičius made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Cyprian Knopek could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Tautvydas Mickevičius however easily saved by the left post. Ignacy Niewiadomski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Turi in the 58th minute of play. Davi Coutinho hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Guido Carrillo in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Tautvydas Mickevičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting a goal against them.
