Jan-Peter Wansink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Confesor in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Slim Shady hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Jacobus Lubbers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Abaurre was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Jorn de Zwaan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Islas FC's Dionisio Abaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Lubbers in the 35th minute of play. Israel Goyo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobus Lubbers in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dionisio Abaurre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dionisio Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dirk Lubbers, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, Islas FC's Israel Goyo got a free kick in the 44th minute. Dirk Lubbers scored 0-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dionisio Abaurre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Winthont FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Confesor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Abaurre was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Jacobus Lubbers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacobus Lubbers really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Dionisio Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorn de Zwaan in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Jacobus Lubbers took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Dionisio Abaurre to make any attempt to save it. Pascall Kolman kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Islas FC defense, Jacobus Lubbers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Abaurre. The Islas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Abaurre should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Oscar Confesor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Peter Wansink. Winthont FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Confesor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.
