With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Urtsin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximino Urtsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Lubbers in the 46th minute of play.

Spams's Herminio Escobar was substituted for Adam Bareiro. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Mouricio to strike the kick off in the second half. Goran Vlaović charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Goran Vlaović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when Spams was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Goran Vlaović didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Egbert Fleur from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Maximino Urtsin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Pascall Kolman got a free kick in the 55th minute. Winthont FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spams the free kick. Jacobus Lubbers hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Herminio Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobus Lubbers came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maximino Urtsin could save by the left post. The supporters of Spams booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Lubbers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Americo Matia took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Peter Wansink. Jan-Peter Wansink dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 92ndth minute of the game Roland Koekkoek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spams's Maximino Urtsin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Spams's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
