Christophe Montaigne started the match with the kick off. Gaétan Toullec came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xandinho Kane. But to his dismay, Xandinho Kane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Christophe Montaigne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Xande Buffon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Xande Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kader Miguet in the 18th minute of the match. Xandinho Kane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Xandinho Kane came free, but Gaétan Toullec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Pascal Herrmann. New Joinville - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Cats and dogs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacob Santalla took the corner. Nicolas De la Cruz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Kader Miguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xande Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christophe Montaigne in the 37th minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xande Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas De la Cruz was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Kader Miguet's late challenge caught a New Joinville - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lamine Xande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cats and dogs booed when New Joinville - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacob Santalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gaétan Toullec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kader Miguet came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Cats and dogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kader Miguet couldn't finish the play. Kader Miguet struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Xande Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cats and dogs.
