Spectators: 7753 (Terracing: 5830, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 157) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aurelio Harriet started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Jarana FC's Aurelio Harriet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ignacy Pliszka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Erubiel Abalos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudio Haimar. That made the score 1-1 in the 8 minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Mitxel came free, but Claudio Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Defensores del Albinegro were awarded a corner. Angelino Lico went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Harriet during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Jarana FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Harriet. If Luciano Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Haimar made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Leopoldo Mitxel sent off a good shot on target. Ignacy Pliszka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martinez Maravilha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erubiel Abalos's late challenge caught a Jarana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Abalos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Albinegro's Erubiel Abalos got a free kick in the 38th minute. Martinez Maravilha struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ignacy Pliszka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jarana FC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Mitxel to make the kick off. Leopoldo Mitxel scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Haimar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Perry Eneto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ignacy Pliszka. Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 67th minute, Erubiel Abalos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Haimar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Angelino Lico hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Luciano Jerano succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-3. 77 minutes into the match, Defensores del Albinegro's goal looked a bit too open when Martinez Maravilha came free, but Ignacy Pliszka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Jarana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rama Sala to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Lico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudio Haimar. Jarana FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match, Aurelio Harriet tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ignacy Pliszka saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 89th minute, Erubiel Abalos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores del Albinegro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. Martinez Maravilha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacy Pliszka having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Defensores del Albinegro had won after a very even match.
