Edoardo Oroni hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, Olympique Fribourg's Téo Savion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorio Loreto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martinez Maravilha in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Knechtli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martinez Maravilha in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Knechtli saved Olympique Fribourg from getting behind. Honorio Loreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Téo Savion in the 15th minute. Medero Gadea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorio Loreto having to make a save. With a little luck, Jarana FC's Honorio Loreto got control of the ball when Téo Savion tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fred Stutz took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Loreto. Honorio Loreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Raik Topuz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Fribourg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After some careless play in the Olympique Fribourg defense, Martinez Maravilha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Knechtli. The Olympique Fribourg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Knechtli should have stopped the shot. Honorio Loreto was a little too slow when Téo Savion got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 4-1. After having played for 34 minutes, Martinez Maravilha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martinez Maravilha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Oroni to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Harriet came free, but Patrick Knechtli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raik Topuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martinez Maravilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patrick Knechtli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martinez Maravilha, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Aurelio Harriet hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Martinez Maravilha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Patrick Knechtli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute of the game Gene Emmenegger made a throw-in which Herve Muller played forward. Patrick Knechtli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martinez Maravilha, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Martinez Maravilha came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Jarana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martinez Maravilha couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Raik Topuz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorio Loreto. Jarana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raik Topuz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Patrick Knechtli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martinez Maravilha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-2 in the 69 minute of play. After 72 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Gene Emmenegger. Martinez Maravilha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Patrick Knechtli made a huge save. Olympique Fribourg's Patrick Knechtli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Harriet in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Martinez Maravilha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martinez Maravilha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Knechtli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Raik Topuz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorio Loreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olympique Fribourg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alejo Kaxen was slow to take the kick. During this time Jarana FC's players had a chance to rest. Jarana FC's Alejo Kaxen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patrick Knechtli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Martinez Maravilha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martinez Maravilha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Knechtli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Olympique Fribourg had played much better football throughout.
