Pepito Riba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Isac, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Cléber da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Pepito Riba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Picanya FC's goalkeeper Pepito Riba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Reyes made a kick off. SORRISO E. After some careless play in the SORRISO E. C. defense, Edgard Reyes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christiano Arce. The SORRISO E. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christiano Arce should have stopped the shot. When Diego Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SORRISO E. C.'s protests and gave Diego Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Diego Toledo hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Baltasar Pascua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when Picanya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Narcis Ipătescu put in a rough tackle. In the 68th minute, one of Picanya FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Picanya FC. C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
