FC Kurdistan were furious when Bruno Di Federico was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Zarando Cordoba in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
