Cléber da Costa started the match with the kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Cléber da Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muget's Daniel Cenușă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Cenușă came free, but Christiano Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Mircea Cenușă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muget's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mircea Cenușă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaud Clément fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Cenușă having to interfere. Christiano Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Piț in the 20th minute of play. Daniel Cenușă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber da Costa in the 22nd minute of the match. Daniel Cenușă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléber da Costa's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Christiano Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Piț, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Christiano Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Piț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Costin Piț notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SORRISO E. C.'s Christiano Arce. Christiano Arce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cléber da Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Cenușă having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mircea Cenușă to make the kick off. Șerban Cenușă made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SORRISO E. C.'s Kiko Souza. Anton Bacalbașa's late challenge caught a SORRISO E. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Bacalbașa helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Muget got a freekick which was hit by Anton Bacalbașa. 54 minutes into the match, Muget's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Isac came free, but Daniel Cenușă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cléber da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Cenușă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cléber da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Cenușă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber da Costa in the 62nd minute of play. Christiano Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Piț in the 69th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Cléber da Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Cenușă was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Zachary Cwynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléber da Costa struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Daniel Cenușă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SORRISO E. C..
