Spectators: 7962 (Terracing: 5973, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) Paulo Dibala started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Dibala came free, but Delfim Vilas Boas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Medina might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Vilas Boas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Medina ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Taborda in the 12th minute of play forced Suipacha FC's goalkeeper Isaac Txema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Txema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Taborda, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Isaac Txema came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by MZ Fénix's Rui Taborda. But to his dismay, Rui Taborda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 17th match minute, Suipacha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Langoni to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Txema made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Rui Taborda sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Medina came free, but Delfim Vilas Boas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Domingues's late challenge caught a Suipacha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. Vicente Domingues hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Rui Taborda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Txema was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Taborda got free with Isaac Txema in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MZ Fénix were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Suipacha FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vicente Domingues took the corner. After 40 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Rubim Jesus. In the 44th minute Cristian Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Vilas Boas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Isaac Txema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Taborda in the 62nd minute of play. Isaac Txema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Taborda, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rubim Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Suipacha FC's Martin Amato was substituted for Cristian Medina. After 72 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Rubim Jesus. 74 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Dibala. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Amato got free with Delfim Vilas Boas in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save MZ Fénix from getting a goal against them. MZ Fénix's Wilson Pestana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pablo Zabaleta, made in the 91st minute of the game. Evaristo Soin kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. MZ Fénix's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
