An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Nestor in the 9th minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Akif Ersoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Jan-Erik Tunberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Polly Magoo Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gösta Bergman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Polly Magoo Juniors's Mehmet Akif Ersoy threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jan-Erik Tunberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29thth minute of the game Rodrigo Nestor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mehmet Akif Ersoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhuang Wen Bang, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Nestor in the 36th minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute of the match ZigZag Athletic got a corner. Polly Magoo Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bengt-Rune Öman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Harry Houdini almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel did a great save. Markus Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Corrêa in the 40th minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Harry Houdini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZigZag Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Houdini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Erik Tunberg made a kick off. Polly Magoo Juniors's German Cibran quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bengt-Rune Öman, made in the 51st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Nestor got free with Markus Fågel in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Corrêa in the 62nd minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Akif Ersoy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gösta Bergman went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Corrêa in the 78th minute of play. Markus Fågel made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Tiago Corrêa sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Gösta Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Akif Ersoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Tunberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gösta Bergman in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Akif Ersoy saved ZigZag Athletic from getting behind. ZigZag Athletic's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
