Rui Rebelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Su Čuk in the 5th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to TC☆ Keskin Nişancı™'s Su Čuk getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Delfim Vilas Boas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Su Čuk in the 11th minute of play. MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Su Čuk in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Rui Taborda managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Fénix's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Taborda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fisnik Fart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Gökalp Ateşoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Ruud Krol in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MZ Fénix's Noel Castilho. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Rui Taborda managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Fénix's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Taborda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fisnik Fart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Su Čuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Delfim Vilas Boas made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Su Čuk sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Rui Taborda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZ Fénix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Su Čuk in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfim Vilas Boas saved MZ Fénix from getting behind. After 46 minutes, Su Čuk made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gökalp Ateşoğlu to make the kick off. When Rubim Jesus fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZ Fénix's protests and gave Rubim Jesus a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Rubim Jesus. Delfim Vilas Boas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökalp Ateşoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Delfim Vilas Boas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruud Krol, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 62 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Rubim Jesus. After a rather tough play, MZ Fénix's Lázaro Caldas got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in MZ Fénix's zone, Ruud Krol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Vilas Boas came out of the goal and Ruud Krol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Su Čuk came free, but Delfim Vilas Boas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, MZ Fénix's Rui Taborda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Savaş Başayoğlu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Savaş Başayoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the game, TC☆ Keskin Nişancı™'s Su Čuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delfim Vilas Boas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Nuno Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fisnik Fart having to interfere. Su Čuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delfim Vilas Boas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. TC☆ Keskin Nişancı™'s Thurman Lloyd managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rui Rebelo in the 84 minute of the game. Fisnik Fart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Taborda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fisnik Fart made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Taborda in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Rui Taborda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fisnik Fart. Rui Taborda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The MZ Fénix supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MZ Fénix would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
