If Gerazan Lluba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Soare in the 10th minute of play forced Fire Breathers FC's goalkeeper Rik Sirguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Vasile Soare ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rik Sirguero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gerazan Lluba's late challenge caught a Mesere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerazan Lluba helped the player get up and apologised. Gerazan Lluba hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Inko Sagrario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mesere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fire Breathers FC the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Fire Breathers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javiero Brieba to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mesere getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Eate Azcaraso hit a great ball. If Gerazan Lluba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mesere's Edgard Maya got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgard Maya struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Rik Sirguero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesere. 39 minutes into the match, Mesere's goalkeeper Charis Manatakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fagondo Mazule. In the 40th minute, Vasile Soare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charis Manatakis had great luck who in the 48thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gerazan Lluba from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After the first half Mesere were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasile Soare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rik Sirguero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Soare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charis Manatakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fagondo Mazule, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Fagondo Mazule notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mesere's Charis Manatakis. Charis Manatakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the match, Mesere's goal looked a bit too open when Gerazan Lluba came free, but Charis Manatakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charis Manatakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerazan Lluba, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Eate Azcaraso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rik Sirguero came out and tried to block the shot, but Eate Azcaraso slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 66th minute. Charis Manatakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tavio Prus in the 70th minute of the match. Fire Breathers FC's Rik Sirguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Maya in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Mesere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Innocenzio Barcenas to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Fire Breathers FC booed when Mesere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Innocenzio Barcenas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Edgard Maya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rik Sirguero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mesere had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
