Classe A Futebol Clube's Lauro Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Perutxo in the 23rd minute of play. A hard shot 28 in the game by Cristóvão Messias from a close distance when the talented Jimeno Santos managed to make a qualified save. TALLERES DE CBA's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Matheus Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Classe A Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matheus Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Santos having to interfere. Jimeno Santos made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Matheus Cunha sent off a good shot on target. The Classe A Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TALLERES DE CBA were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Cristóvão Messias made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristóvão Messias in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lauro Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Bonifacio Txerran sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Luiz Oliveira's late challenge caught a TALLERES DE CBA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Luiz Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TALLERES DE CBA booed when Classe A Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Klusener came free, but Lauro Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Classe A Futebol Clube's protests and gave Jacinto Fantini a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Classe A Futebol Clube! The goalkeeper, Lauro Corrêa, was totally fooled by TALLERES DE CBA's Abel Arlo, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, TALLERES DE CBA's Gilberto Neron got a free kick in the 67th minute. Jimeno Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Salah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes Classe A Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Matheus Cunha. Gilberto Neron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Classe A Futebol Clube's Mohamed Salah got a free kick in the 86th minute. Cristóvão Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jimeno Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, TALLERES DE CBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Messias struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jimeno Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Classe A Futebol Clube. If Cristóvão Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. TALLERES DE CBA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
