The referee ignored Congo Bongo's protests and gave Jonatan Bortzaioriz a yellow card for diving instead. Jonatan Bortzaioriz hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Congo Bongo's Epifanio Ihazintu got control of the ball when Thomas Melse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Epifanio Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Mikolas in the 13th minute of play. Epifanio Ihazintu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Melse in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match, Thomas Melse got a very nice opportunity to score, but Epifanio Ihazintu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rodrigo Corderro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Óscar De Simone in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Ihazintu saved Congo Bongo from getting behind. Erasmo Sengrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Blai took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paolo Sindo. Paolo Sindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Congo Bongo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ramiro Blai hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Epifanio Ihazintu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualterio Mikolas. Epifanio Ihazintu made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gualterio Mikolas sent off a good shot on target. Ulises Remir kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Paolo Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Lehior in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óscar De Simone in the 47th minute of play forced Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Epifanio Ihazintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Melse to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Jerrold got free with Paolo Sindo in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Ismael Lehior had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paolo Sindo. Forever Tango's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Lehior was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 61st minute of the match, Victoriano Jerrold tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paolo Sindo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paolo Sindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Forever Tango booed when Congo Bongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Bortzaioriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Forever Tango's Paolo Sindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Forever Tango from getting a goal against them. Paolo Sindo made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ramiro Blai sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Ismael Lehior took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Paolo Sindo to make any attempt to save it. Epifanio Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Melse in the 82nd minute of play. Epifanio Ihazintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Mikolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Forever Tango's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Lehior came free, but Paolo Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Forever Tango supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Congo Bongo's performance. The match ended with a win for Congo Bongo.
