Nestor Kelemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnabé Dambrine, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Celedonio Hernando hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Jean-Pierre Goigoux broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Régis Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Corderun, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Nestor Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigue Davoust in the 32nd minute of play. Freddy Elequemedo lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 31st minute, one of Espirillo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Espirillo FC. Espirillo FC:s Nestor Kelemen showed great skill when he stopped Jean-Pierre Goigoux:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigue Davoust in the 36th minute of play forced Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Nestor Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moussa Blanquart took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Kelemen. Nestor Kelemen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 43 played minutes Espirillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Mendez. In the 47th minute, Moussa Blanquart made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Kelemen. Espirillo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Les Pionniers de Touraine were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moussa Blanquart to make the kick off. Nestor Kelemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigue Davoust, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, David Corderun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Moussa Blanquart came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Les Pionniers de Touraine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moussa Blanquart couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the game, Espirillo FC's David Corderun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Régis Bastian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 60th match minute, Espirillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Lăcătuș to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Kelemen made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Moussa Blanquart sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Jean-Pierre Morineau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigue Davoust got free with Nestor Kelemen in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rene Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigue Davoust took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Kelemen. Nestor Kelemen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After some careless play in the Les Pionniers de Touraine defense, Rene Mendez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Régis Bastian. The Les Pionniers de Touraine fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Régis Bastian should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pascal Berthelot came free, but Nestor Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, David Corderun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Régis Bastian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Les Pionniers de Touraine players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
