Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aristides Etor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in 1989 Blxsk's zone, Freddy Elequemedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Etor came out of the goal and Freddy Elequemedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee ignored Espirillo FC's protests and gave Freddy Elequemedo a yellow card for diving instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Godoy to strike the kick off in the second half. Desiderio Ostargi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Kelemen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, 1989 Blxsk's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Diagur came free, but Aristides Etor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Godoy got free with Nestor Kelemen in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The 1989 Blxsk players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
