Laurențiu Popescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szczepan Jaszynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, Arkadiusz Madej got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Marcu Bilașco fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alexandria Team08's protests and gave Marcu Bilașco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Alexandria Team08's Marcu Bilașco got a free kick in the 10th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Arkadiusz Madej managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Przemysl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arkadiusz Madej was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alexandria Team08's Mădălin Răduț in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wojciech Skonieczny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Răduț in the 19th minute of the match. A hard shot by Corneliu Antohi from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Wojciech Skonieczny's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Jaszynski in the 27th minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Laurențiu Popescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Arkadiusz Madej shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Popescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pawel Terasek made a great header on Przemysl's corner, it was just that Alexandria Team08's Laurențiu Popescu managed to reach the ball for a save. 31 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Petcu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Przemysl's Wojciech Skonieczny. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Szczepan Jaszynski to strike the kick off in the second half. Laurențiu Popescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Madej in the 54th minute of the match. Corneliu Antohi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojciech Skonieczny having to interfere. In the 58th minute of the match, Arkadiusz Madej got a very nice opportunity to score, but Laurențiu Popescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wit Fujarczuk charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wit Fujarczuk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Przemysl got a freekick which was hit by Wit Fujarczuk. A collision led to Przemysl getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Wit Fujarczuk hit a great ball. Marcu Bilașco kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcu Bilașco to maneuver through the defense. Zbyszko Budacz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Adrian Spirea charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Spirea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcu Bilașco was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Przemysl booed when Alexandria Team08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Bilașco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zbyszko Budacz came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Przemysl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszko Budacz couldn't finish the play. Laurențiu Popescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Budacz in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Przemysl's Wit Winnicki made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurențiu Popescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wojciech Skonieczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Antohi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Alexandria Team08 got a corner. Przemysl's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Corneliu Antohi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Corneliu Antohi made a great header on Alexandria Team08's corner, it was just that Przemysl's Wojciech Skonieczny managed to reach the ball for a save.
