Eloy Sidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Matai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Errando's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 5th match minute, STAL ST WOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boleslaw Nakoneczny to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Sidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Endura in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Endura in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Matai saved STAL ST WOLA from getting behind. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by STAL ST WOLA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Clemente Goyo was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Ayuntamiento CF's players had a chance to rest. Wilfredo Dominix made a great header on Real Ayuntamiento CF's corner, it was just that STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai managed to reach the ball for a save. Çağlar Soyuncu charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Çağlar Soyuncu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Çağlar Soyuncu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Sidro in the 18th minute of play. Eloy Sidro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Roman Matai made a huge save. Roman Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Endura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th play minute Eloy Sidro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Roman Matai. 1-0. The Real Ayuntamiento CF fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Real Ayuntamiento CF's Christian Errando looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Errando in the 38th minute of play forced STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zygmunt Bielejewski in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Berto prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michel Batistuta was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Vicente Berto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Batistuta. In the 56th minute Eloy Sidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Sidro in the 57th minute of the match. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Sidro in the 59th minute of play. Arkadiusz Solecki kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Salvador Endura put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roman Matai. Roman Matai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Endura, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Lázaro Gurutz got a free kick in the 75th minute. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Sidro in the 82nd minute of play. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Endura in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Salvador Endura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Endura in the 95th minute of play forced STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
