Spectators: 7998 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) Manuel Mosquera started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Leicester Lions's Glyn Everard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eulalio Majua. Eulalio Majua yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Pang Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Spartak de Txurdi's John Holmberg got a free kick in the 14th minute. Spartak de Txurdi's Eulalio Majua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Spartak de Txurdi from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Jan Melker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Mike Wadham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Majua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Majua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Wadham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eulalio Majua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Wadham in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Mosquera came free, but Callum Barratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Dyson hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Glyn Everard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Callum Barratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pang Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Mike Wadham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 2-0 when George Pearch sped through Spartak de Txurdi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eulalio Majua. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when George Pearch made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Jack Sharp got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Doğan Ferikoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Callum Barratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Wadham to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Majua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Pearch in the 59th minute of play. Callum Barratt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pang Chuan in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pang Chuan in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Callum Barratt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adam Bettney charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Bettney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Spartak de Txurdi booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Bettney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Bettney hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pang Chuan got free with Callum Barratt in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 minutes, Glyn Everard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leicester Lions and the Spartak de Txurdi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Glyn Everard got a free kick in the 76th minute. Pang Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Mosquera during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Spartak de Txurdi got a freekick which was hit by Regis Jaen. 88 minutes into the match, Mike Wadham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eulalio Majua. Spartak de Txurdi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mike Wadham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Eulalio Majua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Pearch in the 91st minute of play. Leicester Lions's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
