Edmundo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Seychell in the 9th minute of the match. Clayton Gerada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Gustavsson in the 10th minute of play. When Angelo Trigona came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Seraċini Għawdxin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Trigona couldn't finish the play. Paul Montebello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Edmundo de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aírton Veiga hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Seychell in the 19th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Seraċini Għawdxin were awarded a corner. Andrew Miggiani went to the cornerflag to take it. Seraċini Għawdxin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when 孔翔沙 scored to the left of an out of position Clayton Gerada, making the score, 1-0. Edmundo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Seychell in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Buritama Sports's Alessandro Félix dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrew Miggiani to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Montebello during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clayton Gerada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Clayton Gerada came out of the goal and Diguinho Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 80 played minutes Seraċini Għawdxin got a freekick which was hit by Paul Montebello. In the 90th minute Angelo Trigona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Seychell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buritama Sports were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Seraċini Għawdxin for a fine match.
