The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diguinho Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sports's Celsinho Cosme got a free kick in the 4th minute. Edmundo de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glyn Everard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glyn Everard in the 8th minute of the match. Edmundo de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Pearch, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Alessandro Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Callum Barratt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Gustavsson in the 30th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Callum Barratt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 孔翔沙. Glyn Everard struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Edmundo de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leicester Lions. Alessandro Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Glyn Everard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mike Wadham was the one to do the kick off. Mike Wadham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Edmundo de Toledo made a huge save. Callum Barratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 孔翔沙, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes Leicester Lions's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celsinho Cosme who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Michal Budzyn hit a great ball. Buritama Sports's Edmundo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Pearch in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th minute, George Pearch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leicester Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jan-Ove Gustavsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Callum Barratt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Pearch in the 80th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Félix's late challenge caught a Leicester Lions's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alessandro Félix helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Leicester Lions booed when Buritama Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buritama Sports's Edmundo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buster Cheesman in the 83rd minute of play. In the 91st minute, Buritama Sports's Celsinho Cosme seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Celsinho Cosme the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Buritama Sports protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Celsinho Cosme had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Celsinho Cosme hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Leicester Lions's Glyn Everard tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 93 minutes, Aírton Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buritama Sports and the Leicester Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Leicester Lions players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
