With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmundo de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Lucifer in the 92nd minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sports's Toninho Freitas got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Eustaquio Gil's late challenge caught a Buritama Sports's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Gil helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Resurrección Diabólica Ψ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Buritama Sports had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
