The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Sydney Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sydney Gonçalves sped through Anderbye FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Quintal. Erik Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Gonçalves in the 11th minute of the match. Reynaldo Maranhense hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Leandro Passos with Luís Fernando Vianna as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When John Cena came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Xentrias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Cena couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Xentrias's Jarl Vallengren got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Gonçalves came free, but Erik Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Vallengren in the 36th minute of play forced Anderbye FC's goalkeeper Erik Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Jarl Vallengren notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Anderbye FC's Erik Quintal. Erik Quintal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erik Quintal came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Xentrias's Sydney Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Sydney Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 46th minute, Sydney Gonçalves made a precise shot to the right of Erik Quintal. Anderbye FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lince Negro was the one to do the kick off. If Sydney Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Gonçalves in the 52nd minute of play forced Anderbye FC's goalkeeper Erik Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarl Vallengren in the 54th minute. Sydney Gonçalves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Quintal having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sydney Gonçalves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erik Quintal. That made the score 0-6 in the 59 minute of play. Xentrias's Jussi Björling was substituted for Sydney Gonçalves. Xentrias made a substitution. Rickard Söderberg replaced Jarl Vallengren. Xentrias's attentive Oskar Haraldsson managed to snatch the ball when Leandro Passos made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Jussi Björling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute Jussi Björling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Söderberg's late challenge caught a Anderbye FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rickard Söderberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Anderbye FC booed when Xentrias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jussi Björling in the 73rd minute of play. Erik Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jussi Björling in the 74th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Rickard Söderberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Quintal. Anderbye FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rickard Söderberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. After 86 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by Jan Björklund. In the 89th minute Jussi Björling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Rickard Söderberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Erik Quintal to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th minute, Jussi Björling made a precise shot to the right of Erik Quintal. Anderbye FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. The Anderbye FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Xentrias were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
