With a little luck, Mestre GG's Francisco do Vale got control of the ball when Agustin Elorri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Benjamim Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Oswaldo Dracena hit a great ball. The supporters of SABALEPLUS booed when Mestre GG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeca Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Santio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisco do Vale. Mestre GG's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernabe Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Gildo Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernabe Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Sergipano in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Célio Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco do Vale was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Raul Galo. Bernabe Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Sergipano in the 36th minute of play. Gildo Sá hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes, Ruben Araoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SABALEPLUS and the Mestre GG players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, SABALEPLUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Araoz to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Benjamim Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SABALEPLUS's Bernabe Hanot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justino Estevez to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernabe Hanot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gildo Sá in the 53rd minute. After 53 played minutes SABALEPLUS got a freekick which was hit by Blas Nastasio. Chiquinho Sergipano struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bernabe Hanot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mestre GG. 64 minutes into the game, Mestre GG's Gildo Sá nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernabe Hanot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Mestre GG booed when SABALEPLUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Amaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Benjamim Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mestre GG's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamim Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabe Hanot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gildo Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Francisco do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Elorri in the 91st minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Mestre GG got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Mangueira. Mestre GG's Francisco do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Nastasio in the 97th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
