In the 3rd minute Carlos Auzqui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Momentum FC booed when Macaco F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haciqämbär Carabajal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Carlos Auzqui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Campos. Macaco F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Auzqui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jorge Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Abubakar in the 14th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Vincent Abubakar made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Campos. Macaco F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 17th minute Ioan Mavrodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Auzqui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jorge Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Auzqui, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Macaco F.C.'s Carlos Penha got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Campos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goalkeeper Faustino Quinten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermínio Cavalcante. Jorge Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ostots Naredo in the 39th minute of the match. Christian Poz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

In the 52nd minute, Christian Poz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Momentum FC's Christian Poz got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Momentum FC's Carlos Auzqui nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Campos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Christian Poz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Campos having to make a save. Carlos Auzqui struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jorge Campos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Momentum FC. In the 66th match minute, Momentum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Paio to maneuver through the defense. Momentum FC's Faustino Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Cavalcante in the 66th minute of play. Faustino Quinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ioan Mavrodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Auzqui might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Campos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Auzqui ran back to his position shaking his head. Momentum FC's Carlos Auzqui got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 minutes Macaco F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruno Lordi who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Momentum FC's Vincent Abubakar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a little luck, Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos got control of the ball when Ostots Naredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ostots Naredo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jorge Campos firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 88th minute, Ioan Mavrodin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustino Quinten was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. The Momentum FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
