Tjark Ernst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 6 minutes of play, ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Jurand Fiszer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tjark Ernst was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jurand Fiszer in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tjark Ernst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jurand Fiszer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tjark Ernst having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathieu Tippelt got free with Robert Gniewek in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Indiana Johns quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcus Rall, made in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Jurand Fiszer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tjark Ernst was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 25th minute Jurand Fiszer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tjark Ernst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurand Fiszer struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Tjark Ernst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨. After having played for 32 minutes, Gonza Gonzalez Del Solar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonza Gonzalez Del Solar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jurand Fiszer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tjark Ernst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Jurand Fiszer took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tjark Ernst. Tjark Ernst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Robert Gniewek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Stripf, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Gonza Gonzalez Del Solar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jurand Fiszer to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Tjark Ernst managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Jurand Fiszer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Jurand Fiszer came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurand Fiszer couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the game, Marcus Rall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hertha 1969's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ the free kick. After 62 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Rall. If Gonza Gonzalez Del Solar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Adam Jäckel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Gniewek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Robert Gniewek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Stripf's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ made a substitution. Zawisza Czarny replaced Jurand Fiszer. Zawisza Czarny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tjark Ernst having to interfere. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Marek Merski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcus Rall, made in the 86th minute of the game. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Zawisza Czarny got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
