Tjark Ernst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskitz Cadenas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Tjark Ernst, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oskitz Cadenas in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tjark Ernst saved Hertha 1969 from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oskitz Cadenas in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tjark Ernst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lorimer Beer kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Ruth Forbrig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Xu came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the HASSELHOFF BABES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xu couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Jäckel made a kick off. Xu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tjark Ernst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Adam Jäckel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
