Szabolcs Czene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Tjark Ernst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute Domonkos Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tjark Ernst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tjark Ernst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domonkos Kelemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Tjark Ernst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from István Fülöp in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Henter Somosd's Sámuel Bodnár got control of the ball when Mathieu Tippelt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Hertha 1969's Mathieu Tippelt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sámuel Bodnár. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Tobias Passmann got a free kick in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domonkos Kelemen in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tjark Ernst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25thth minute of the game Domonkos Kelemen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hertha 1969's Tjark Ernst was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, one of Hertha 1969:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for FC Henter Somosd. Dániel Fenyvessy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tjark Ernst. 1-1. Lara Scherz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Tjark Ernst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dániel Fenyvessy in the 35th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Rall. If Szabolcs Czene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Jäckel kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Hertha 1969's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobias Passmann in the 49th minute. After taking down the ball on Hertha 1969's corner Mark Stripf fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sámuel Bodnár quite easily take care of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domonkos Kelemen to make the kick off. Sámuel Bodnár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Stripf in the 54th minute of play. Domonkos Kelemen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Tjark Ernst made a huge save. After some careless play in the Hertha 1969 defense, Domonkos Kelemen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tjark Ernst. The Hertha 1969 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tjark Ernst should have stopped the shot. In the 65th match minute, FC Henter Somosd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Géza György to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Stripf in the 70th minute of play forced FC Henter Somosd's goalkeeper Sámuel Bodnár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, János Szepesi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sámuel Bodnár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu Tippelt in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Hertha 1969's Tjark Ernst got control of the ball when Domonkos Kelemen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Adam Jäckel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Henter Somosd's Sámuel Bodnár was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Adam Jäckel put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sámuel Bodnár. After 83 played minutes FC Henter Somosd got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Szoboszlai. Hertha 1969's Tjark Ernst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Hertha 1969 from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, Mark Stripf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hertha 1969 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 92 minutes into the match, FC Henter Somosd's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Stripf came free, but Sámuel Bodnár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sámuel Bodnár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Jäckel in the 95th minute of the match. FC Henter Somosd's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
