Daniel Olejarz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santa Clausius in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heitor Horta prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santa Clausius made a kick off. Veríssimo Taveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Santa Clausius dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Heitor Horta, 0-1. When Noel Pacheco fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ponte do Carro's protests and gave Noel Pacheco a yellow card for diving instead. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Jiang Lin Yang was substituted for Clarence Makélélé.
