The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 13 minutes into the match, Teo Ospetsu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Håkan Söderberg. Degerfors IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teo Ospetsu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Åke Fors blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinicio Frederico having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Barsa FC's Teo Ospetsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Håkan Söderberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Tolek Pluciennik notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg. Håkan Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th match minute, Barsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. If Åke Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Degerfors IF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fredrik Isak hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Barsa FC defense, Åke Fors kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Frederico. The Barsa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Frederico should have stopped the shot. After 45 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Zé Simões. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Gamus to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Teo Ospetsu notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg. Håkan Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo José Diaz made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Degerfors IF's 김 손. Barsa FC made a substitution. Enrique Nayely replaced Casimiro Gamus. Håkan Söderberg came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Barsa FC's Enrique Nayely. But to his dismay, Enrique Nayely quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Håkan Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Lautaro Martine struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Håkan Söderberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barsa FC. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's Fredrik Isak got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 80 minutes, Tomas Kråk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Degerfors IF and the Barsa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Martine in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Söderberg saved Degerfors IF from getting behind. If Enrique Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo José Diaz charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo José Diaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Paulo José Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barsa FC had won after a very even match.
