Håkan Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Llorian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Murillo came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Degerfors IF's Åke Fors. But to his dismay, Åke Fors quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to DREAM TEAM WORLD getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Melchor Endura hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Eduardo Chayo got a free kick in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Jacobo Diagur threw the ball into play from the sideline. Degerfors IF's Christian Håkansson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in DREAM TEAM WORLD's zone, Åke Fors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Murillo came out of the goal and Åke Fors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Åke Fors fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tom Murillo, passed just outside the right post. Tom Murillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Isak in the 44th minute of the match. Tom Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Fors, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Åke Fors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tom Murillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Marko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Conrado Cordarrell made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Degerfors IF's 김 손. 57 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Isak came free, but Tom Murillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Degerfors IF's 김 손 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Conrado Cordarrell in the 58 minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Fors came free, but Tom Murillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Fredrik Isak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Degerfors IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DREAM TEAM WORLD the free kick. Degerfors IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
