In the 5th minute Gustav Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Mejía saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, LA LUZ F.C.'s Andrés Torres got a free kick in the 7th minute. Luís Mejía showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Zjawin in the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano de Brito during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LA LUZ F.C. booed when CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Chus in the 30th minute of play. Luís Mejía took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Zjawin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Víktor Soeiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Cubilla got a free kick in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Teofil Zjawin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luís Mejía was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute, Gustav Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Luís Mejía. LA LUZ F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

LA LUZ F.C.'s Eleuterio Taurino was substituted for Tadeo Chus. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofil Zjawin to make the kick off. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Txeru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Mejía was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Gustav Medeiros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustav Medeiros really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 59th minute, Benito Txeru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the LA LUZ F.C. defense, Gustav Medeiros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Mejía. The LA LUZ F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Mejía should have stopped the shot. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Marquinhos Souza was substituted for Cléber Paes. The supporters of CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes LA LUZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Honesto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Txeru in the 81st minute of play forced CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano de Brito in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Mejía saved LA LUZ F.C. from getting behind. Luís Mejía was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adriano de Brito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 86 minute of play. Eleuterio Taurino scored 1-6 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emerson Leão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdemar Messias in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Mejía saved LA LUZ F.C. from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
