Belfegor FC's Clodoveo Rosio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Cresconio Carreño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo ScrugenFC from getting a goal against them. Deportivo ScrugenFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Leandro Lazaro scored to the left of an out of position Cresconio Carreño, making the score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Freddy Corderun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cresconio Carreño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Belfegor FC defense, Luiz Gustavo Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daníel Islas. The Belfegor FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daníel Islas should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo ScrugenFC's Checa Peñas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daníel Islas. That made the score 2-3 after 56 minutes of play. Belfegor FC's Carlo Magno was substituted for Clodoveo Rosio. With 65 minutes on the clock, Daniel Toribio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Belfegor FC made a substitution. Ivan Charro replaced Sverker Petersson. In a very dangerous position, a player in Belfegor FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute.
