After 8 played minutes Clube do Remo MZ got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Paraíba. Belfegor FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roben Soens in the 11th minute. Roben Soens made a great header on Belfegor FC's corner, it was just that Clube do Remo MZ's Cléber Pinho managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 15th minute Afonso Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daníel Islas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Clodoveo Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fernando Britto hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube do Remo MZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner led Belfegor FC's Urbano Mannie to fire away a dangerous shot which Cléber Pinho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Afonso Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daníel Islas having to interfere. Daníel Islas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Clube do Remo MZ's Cléber Pinho got control of the ball when Leandro Lazaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clube do Remo MZ's Cléber Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Clube do Remo MZ from getting a goal against them. Doriva Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Belfegor FC's Daníel Islas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Paraíba in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Mannie in the 44th minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Cléber Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cléber Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Rosio in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doriva Pinho was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Leandro Lazaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doriva Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belfegor FC made a substitution. Eugenio Chesus replaced Urbano Mannie. Belfegor FC's Ivan Charro was substituted for Sverker Petersson. In the 74th minute Clodoveo Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fernando Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Clube do Remo MZ made a substitution. Luiz Fernando Pena replaced Doriva Pinho. Clube do Remo MZ's Joélson de Carvalho was substituted for Afonso Paraíba. Cléber Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Magno, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Eugenio Chesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Belfegor FC's Freddy Corderun got a free kick in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Magno came free, but Cléber Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joélson de Carvalho got free with Daníel Islas in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Chesus came free, but Cléber Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Belfegor FC's corner Ivan Charro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cléber Pinho quite easily take care of the ball. Belfegor FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Clube do Remo MZ for a fine match.
