The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jaunzuria Querendil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Wüthrich in the 5th minute of play. Henri Schwersenz kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Charles Gutiérrez got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gorosti Raigal got free with Jörg Stiel in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jörg Stiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Gutiérrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Rapsodas Red Devils FC booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Einstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Aebi charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Aebi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Mauro Aebi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Schwersenz in the 29th minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Jaunzuria Querendil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Henri Schwersenz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jaunzuria Querendil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Kurt Wüthrich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaunzuria Querendil was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After 31 minutes, Kurt Wüthrich made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jaunzuria Querendil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauro Aebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominik Sauerberg struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Jaunzuria Querendil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espen Steelers. Jörg Stiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gorosti Raigal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gorosti Raigal in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörg Stiel saved Espen Steelers from getting behind. Jaunzuria Querendil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomone Weber in the 41st minute of play. Jörg Stiel came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Gorosti Raigal. But to his dismay, Gorosti Raigal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gorosti Raigal was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Kepa Ballugera got a free kick in the 51st minute. Milio Caruezo charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Milio Caruezo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. During the 58th minute of the match Milio Caruezo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Milio Caruezo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 59th minute, Milio Caruezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaunzuria Querendil was a little too slow when Salomone Weber got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salomone Weber during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Salomone Weber got a free kick in the 64th minute. Espen Steelers's Bryan Rohner was substituted for Salomone Weber. After 65 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Salomone Weber. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorosti Raigal in the 66th minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Jörg Stiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Espen Steelers's Janis Moser was substituted for Erasmo Emesto. Jörg Stiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kepa Ballugera in the 71st minute of play. Jörg Stiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gorosti Raigal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espen Steelers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bob Hughes was slow to take the kick. During this time Rapsodas Red Devils FC's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Gorosti Raigal to score against Jörg Stiel in Espen Steelers's goal. 2-3 after 75 minutes. 79 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Jaunzuria Querendil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Wüthrich. After having played for 82 minutes, Kepa Ballugera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kepa Ballugera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Rapsodas Red Devils FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Barros Saenz hit a great ball. Felip Villavicencio's late challenge caught a Espen Steelers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felip Villavicencio helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Espen Steelers's Kurt Wüthrich slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jaunzuria Querendil. That made the score 2-4 after 87 minutes of play. Jaunzuria Querendil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Wüthrich, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The supporters of Rapsodas Red Devils FC booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Wüthrich didn't get a good kick on the ball.
