Aílton Paraíba made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Amboy FC's Jacobo Senio. 16 minutes into the game, Amboy FC's Astor Tome nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, Aílton Paraíba threw the ball into play from the sideline. Amboy FC's Jacobo Senio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Adriano Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Astor Tome ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriano Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Gustavo Bernebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Motta in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Amboy FC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after MAZER SAF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximino Donzel took the corner. The corner ended in Gaspar Milio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MAZER SAF's Adriano Carneiro did a great save. After 39 minutes of play, Amboy FC's Astor Tome made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adriano Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adriano Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astor Tome's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, MAZER SAF's Magno Maranhense seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Magno Maranhense the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MAZER SAF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Magno Maranhense had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The MAZER SAF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Amboy FC were winning 1-3.

If Nelsinho Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute Nelsinho Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Bernebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nelsinho Koehler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Bernebe was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The corner led MAZER SAF's Beraldo Soberano to fire away a dangerous shot which Gustavo Bernebe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Astor Tome took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriano Carneiro. Adriano Carneiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Thanks to some nice moves Romulo Bernebe could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Adriano Carneiro however easily saved by the left post. In the 87th minute Amboy FC were awarded a corner. Maximino Donzel went to the cornerflag to take it. Modesto Eufrasio's late challenge caught a MAZER SAF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Modesto Eufrasio helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Eufrasio. Thiago Motta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Bernebe having to make a save. The Amboy FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Amboy FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
