The crowd rose to their feet as MAZER SAF's Nelsinho Koehler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jimmie Ek. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. Jimmie Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Berger in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Vintilă Şimonca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Koehler in the 24th minute of play forced Firma Barnängen's goalkeeper Jimmie Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MAZER SAF's Adriano Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Juhlin in the 46th minute of play. Adriano Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Şimonca in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
