Rolf Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Wallmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Clemente Tuñon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Duset having to interfere. Clemente Tuñon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Emil Duset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Schwarzenegger. 25 minutes into the game, Sundborn IF's Mohamed Salah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolf Holmgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Rolf Holmgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohamed Salah in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Guntademaro Goyenechea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. General Velásquez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundborn IF the free kick. 41 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Stellan Wallmark came free, but Rolf Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Guntademaro Goyenechea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. General Velásquez's Rolf Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Arenberg in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Guntademaro Goyenechea managed to get in a good position for a shot. General Velásquez's supporters rose to their feet, but Guntademaro Goyenechea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Duset breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Tor Ahlbom's late challenge caught a General Velásquez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tor Ahlbom helped the player get up and apologised. Tor Ahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Guntademaro Goyenechea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Emil Duset made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Guntademaro Goyenechea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guntademaro Goyenechea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Emil Duset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Duset stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guntademaro Goyenechea's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Manuelo Oñez y Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sundborn IF made a substitution. Karl Arhenius replaced Tor Ahlbom. Rolf Holmgren came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Sundborn IF's Stellan Wallmark. But to his dismay, Stellan Wallmark quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Arhenius in the 71st minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Oskar Arenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sundborn IF's Emil Duset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 78th minute of play. Oskar Arenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Stellan Wallmark fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundborn IF's protests and gave Stellan Wallmark a yellow card for diving instead. Stellan Wallmark hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. General Velásquez's Rolf Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Arenberg in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Axel Klint to maneuver through the defense. Guntademaro Goyenechea kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Sundborn IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Gustav Tidéksson scored to the left of an out of position Emil Duset, making the score, 2-1.
