The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aquiles Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saúl Gentiletti, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Vilmantas Matulas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Emesto. The crowd rose to their feet as Everardo Emesto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vilmantas Matulas. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saúl Gentiletti in the 18th minute of play forced Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Aquiles Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's Saúl Gentiletti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Mannie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aquiles Mannie came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Žalia Giria's Saúl Gentiletti. But to his dismay, Saúl Gentiletti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Algitas Kimbartas kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Saúl Gentiletti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yupandú FC's Aquiles Mannie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vilmantas Matulas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Uchiha in the 39th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everardo Emesto was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Yupandú FC's Rio Uchiha made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilmantas Matulas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vilmantas Matulas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Emesto in the 56th minute of play. After 58 played minutes FC Žalia Giria got a freekick which was hit by Onur Ali Semi. 64 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Emesto came free, but Vilmantas Matulas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saúl Gentiletti in the 71st minute of play forced Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Aquiles Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Yupandú FC fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Yupandú FC's Everardo Emesto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edgardo Dalmai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vilmantas Matulas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Dalmai's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's Augustinas Baltramaitis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Mannie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute of the match, Jack Grealish tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aquiles Mannie saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 90th minute, Miguel Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustinas Baltramaitis charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augustinas Baltramaitis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes FC Žalia Giria got a freekick which was hit by Augustinas Baltramaitis. In the 98th minute of the match, Augustinas Baltramaitis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aquiles Mannie saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yupandú FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
