The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 26thth minute of the game Everardo Emesto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parfrente FC's Hamílton Donatello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Parfrente FC booed when Yupandú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Reginaldo Meireles took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Aquiles Mannie to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Uchiha in the 33rd minute of play forced Parfrente FC's goalkeeper Hamílton Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Parfrente FC's zone, Rio Uchiha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamílton Donatello came out of the goal and Rio Uchiha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Parfrente FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yupandú FC were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauan Carioca to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Magdaleno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquiles Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Magdaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Rio Uchiha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yupandú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rio Uchiha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamílton Donatello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Edgardo Dalmai put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hamílton Donatello. Enio Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yupandú FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
