When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Paulo Fontes made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Sven-Arne Sandell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lupere FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yupandú FC the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Marcelo de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Aquiles Mannie. Yupandú FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Iratze in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silas Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo de Souza during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcelo de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yupandú FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
