IFK Gladdarna's Kurt Ekberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Gladdarna from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's zone, Cam Bahč stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barnaba Budacz came out of the goal and Cam Bahč tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, IFK Gladdarna's Adrián Serena got a free kick in the 17th minute. Kurt Ekberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaroslaw Kaczynski in the 19th minute. Snorre Snabb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnaba Budacz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cam Bahč managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Gladdarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Cam Bahč was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barnaba Budacz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute Jaroslaw Kaczynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrián Serena made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's Ulryk Kajfasz. Kurt Ekberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaroslaw Kaczynski's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Martin Sundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddie Stenberg made a kick off. IFK Gladdarna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cam Bahč in the 52nd minute.
