Deilmison Robben's late challenge caught a IFK Gladdarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deilmison Robben helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Deilmison Robben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Munhoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cam Bahč, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Freddie Stenberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Munhoz having to make a save. Psiu!'s José Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Sundin in the 26th minute of play. Kurt Ekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison Robben in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Psiu! were awarded a corner. Chico Santana went to the cornerflag to take it. Freddie Stenberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Calle Glader kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Chico Santana came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Psiu! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chico Santana couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Ortiz in the 35th minute of play forced IFK Gladdarna's goalkeeper Kurt Ekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IFK Gladdarna's Kurt Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Ortiz in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Psiu! booed when IFK Gladdarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Glader didn't get a good kick on the ball. An impressive performance by IFK Gladdarna's Cam Bahč! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddie Stenberg was the one to do the kick off. Cam Bahč received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. José Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Zizou Zidane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Psiu!'s José Munhoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. IFK Gladdarna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cam Bahč in the 61st minute. If Freddie Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Ekberg was a little too slow when Anderson Ortiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddie Stenberg in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Munhoz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anderson Ortiz got free with Kurt Ekberg in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anderson Ortiz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Kurt Ekberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Freddie Stenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Munhoz was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Calle Glader kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Chico Santana struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Kurt Ekberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Psiu!. Anderson Ortiz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 86th playminute. The supporters of Psiu! booed when IFK Gladdarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Makélélé didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anderson Ortiz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kurt Ekberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kurt Ekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison Robben in the 94th minute of play. Claude Makélélé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Psiu! supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Psiu! would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
