A collision led to Rondinone F.C - FDFDF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tiago Fontes hit a great ball. Samuca Bezerra was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Diego Gentil. With his leg Samuca Bezerra managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when The Potters's Endre Ábrahám fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Samuca Bezerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Endre Ábrahám in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Endre Ábrahám came free, but Samuca Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Luís Eduardo Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Potters's Sven-Olof Gregersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Samuca Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habakkuk Beardsley in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, The Potters's Torben Jørgensgaard got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Endre Ábrahám kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Luís Eduardo Arce in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Diego Gentil struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Samuca Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Potters. Samuca Bezerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Endre Ábrahám in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Diego Gentil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samuca Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habakkuk Beardsley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Chicão Matos fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's protests and gave Chicão Matos a yellow card for diving instead. Samuca Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørgen Tønsager, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 85 played minutes The Potters got a freekick which was hit by Burhanettin Kutsoy. Sven-Olof Gregersson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gil dos Santos. Diego Gentil charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Gentil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when The Potters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Gentil didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alfonso Osorio fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Potters's protests and gave Alfonso Osorio a yellow card for diving instead. Alfonso Osorio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the The Potters players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
