UE Cornella's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of The Potters booed when UE Cornella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carles Hidalgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francis Cummings made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by UE Cornella's Manolo Figueroa. Fresco Baltanas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burhanettin Kutsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francis Cummings made in the 96th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jørgen Tønsager. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. UE Cornella were victorious despite being under pressure from The Potters for much of the match.
